Power Factor

Hello Sureshv88

Very difficult to give a meaningful answer without a lot more information.

If there have been no changes and this is a sudden change, then I would look at any power factor correction that you have to ensure that it is working correctly.

If you do not have any power factor correction installed, you may need to install an automatic correction bank.

Before you install a new bank, ensure that you measure the harmonic voltage distortion at the site. If the harmonic voltage distortion is too high, then you will need to consider this as it will cause the power factor correction to be overloaded.

Best regards,

Mark.
