liloyaya
Dear all,My first time here . I just started a soft starter project and realized a lot of things different from drive. One question: How does the jogging mode be realized in Soft starter? Normally they provide jogging speed x%--y%, but where does the speed value come from? Thanks for your help! marke
Hello liloyaya Welcome to the forum. Some soft starters do provide a crude reduced speed jog by using a simple form of six pulse cyclo converter.By only switching some SCRs per cycle rather than all of them, they can provide a magnetic vector rotating by limmited degrees each cycle rather than 360 degrees per cycle.
