Uttamkumar
Dear Forum members. We often come across the terms HT, LT, HV & LV in electric power systems and devices. Hence would like to know their basic definition and differences and their dependencies. Does this affect the systems from country to country. If so in what form it is prevalent in India. I surfed on net but only ended up with multiple answers. Hence guys pls. help.
AB2005
HT = High Tension starts from 3kv LT = Low Tension HV = High Voltage (almost like HT, usaully 1000V also calls High Voltage) LV = Low Voltage (almost like LT) these abrivations use all over the world for respective voltages.
